The Met Office here Friday forecast rain in many parts of Uttar Pradesh, and a dip in temperature.
Regional Met director J.P. Gupta said the state capital as well as eastern and western UP will receive rain. The change in weather would continue till Saturday and the weather would be clear Sunday, he said.
The maximum temperature here Thursday was 24.7 degrees Celsius - two degrees below normal, while the minimum was 5.8 degrees celsius - five notches below normal.
