Gadkari to ring LSE's trading bell, NHAI to list masala bonds

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will deliver a special address at the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and launch NHAIs masala bonds on Thursday.

According to a senior NHAI official, Gadkari who is expected to arrive here on Thursday will invite investors to participate in India's growth story.

Besides, Gadkari will "open the market for trading" after which NHAI will list its masala bonds, the official said on Wednesday.

The infrastructure masala bonds are a major initiative being encouraged by the central government to attract investors.

It is with this objective that the NHAI has decided to access the masala bond market, the official said.
