Union Minister of State Gen. (Retd) V.K. Singh plans setting up a 24X7 public grievance helpline in his parliamentary constituency - Ghaziabad, the minister announced Sunday.
"The problems would be referred to a committee that would include members from political, social and professional background, to forward the grievances with its recommendations," he said in a press conference here.
The minister said he would form seven to eight such committees.
To develop skill among youth, the city would have a skill development centre soon for which he had held deliberations with union Skill Development Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.
To pursue his charter, he had a series of meetings with Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Power Minister Piyush Goyal, among others.
