Aiming to provide proper diagnosis for all kinds of genetic disorders, including cancer and reproductive disorders, Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda inaugurated Genetic Testing and Molecular Diagnostic laboratory here on Tuesday.
GeneKart -- a state-of-the-art fully equipped Genetic Testing and Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory -- will have high end equipments like Nextgen Sequencer, Thermal Cyclers, Real Time PCR, and other supporting machines.
The lab will offer genetic testing services for all kinds of genetic disorders, including cancer, inherited diseases, reproductive disorders and pharmacogenomics.
The aim is to make these high-end services accessible to the general public and increase the awareness for better health for every citizen.
