A kiosk has come up at the Ghaziabad civil court compound so that litigants can key in their case number to know various details, Ghaziabad Bar Association President Anil Pandit said on Thursday.
District and Sessions Judge Girjesh Kumar Pandey, who inaugurated the kiosk on Wednesday, said: "This is the latest machine installed in any court compound in Uttar Pradesh and is the first step towards computerizing the proceedings of district-level courts."
He said this will save the people a lot of trips to the court rooms, situated on different floors, to know the progress of their case.
