Infrastructure conglomerate GMR Infrastructure on Friday said it has not sold any controlling stake in Hyderabad Airport.
"We completely deny sale of controlling stake in Hyderabad Airport and as a matter of policy, we do not comment on any such market speculation," the company informed the BSE in a regulatory filing.
"We wish to submit that GMR Group has been continuously exploring the opportunities to raise necessary funds for the group. We keep stock exchange informed of any concrete development which are definitive in nature."
The regulatory filing was submitted to the BSE after a media report said that the company was in advanced stages of negotiations to sell the controlling stake in Hyderabad Airport.
