Czech Republic goalkeeper Petr Cech's management company has denied any talk of a deal with English Premier League (EPL) club Arsenal by posting on Twitter.
The 33-year-old is expected to put a halt to his 11-year-old Chelsea career and move to London rivals Arsenal having had to sit out much of last season due to the presence of Belgian international Thibaut Courtois, who stepped in as the regular Chelsea custodian.
However, after reports indicated an announcement was imminent that Cech would join the Gunners, he took the unusual step of sharing a message posted by his management company - The Sports PR Company - on Twitter on Monday night.
The message retweeted by Cech read: "...as we told you, No transfer deal has been done yet for @PetrCech - as soon as [there is] any news @PetrCech will confirm."
Cech has played 114 matches for the Czech Republic football team.
