After losing the last leg at the Delhi Golf Club narrowly, Delhi's Vani Kapoor will aim to equalise the record of most wins in a season at the DLF Golf and Country Club in the 15th leg of the Rs 6,00,000 Hero womens Professional Tour, which gets underway from Tuesday.

The event features 15 professionals and lone amateur Diksha Dagar and will help the golfers get some match practice before the all important Hero women's Indian Open, which will be held at the same venue next month.

Order of merit leader Vani, who has been in prolific form, winning six titles in 10 appearances, will be keen to equalise the record of most wins in a season currently held by Kolkata's veteran Smriti Mehra. With total earnings of Rs. 9,49,150, she will look to consolidate her position.

Second placed Amandeep Drall will be hoping to put forth a strong display and move up the order of merit. The Panchkula golfer has total earnings of Rs. 9,41,534, winning three titles in eleven appearances.

Rookie Siddhi Kapoor won her maiden professional title in the last event and will be a force to reckon with. She showed great composure and held her nerve to claim the title at DGC and will be keen for an encore.

Kolkata's Neha Tripathi is currently placed third in the order of merit with total earnings of Rs.9,25,383 and will be hoping to move up the ladder. She hasn't been at her best in the last couple of events and will seek to make amends.

Another strong contender for the title is Kapurthala's Gursimar Badwal. She is currently placed fourth in the order of merit with total earnings of Rs.8,44,800. Having won her maiden professional title this season, she would look to add another title to her tally.

Other players to look out for are Chandigarh's Saaniya Sharma, the Delhi duo of Ankita Tiwana and Meher Atwal, and Pune's Shweta Galande.
