FC Barcelona have confirmed that Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes has returned to the club after he suffered a muscular bruise while playing for his country's football team.
The Catalan side explained on Sunday that it will determine next week when Gomes can return to the squad fully fit after the 23-year-old suffered injury in Portugal's 5-0 win over Gibraltar on Thursday, reports Efe.
Meanwhile, Argentine star Lionel Messi returned to Barcelona on Sunday with pelvic pains that he picked up during his national side's game against Uruguay last Thursday.
Barcelona are gearing up for next Saturday's clash against Alaves at the Camp Nou stadium in round three of La Liga.
