Government postpones provision relating to TDS, TCS under GST

The government has postponed the provision relating to Tax Deduction at Source and Tax Collection at Source under the GST, ahead of its July 1 roll-out.

This has been done to provide more time for persons liable to deduct tax at source and e-commerce companies and their suppliers to prepare for the historic tax reform.
