Defender Gum struck a 50th-minute equaliser to earn reigning champions Fluminense a 1-1 draw against Coritiba in the Brazilian championship.
Lincoln had given the visitors the lead on the half-hour mark with a header after Escudero's cross on the counterattack Saturday, reports Xinhua.
The result at the Maracana stadium left Fluminense eighth with 30 points from 23 matches while Coritiba are sixth, with 31 points.
Fluminense coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo praised his team's performance following a midweek trip to Criciuma in Brazil's south.
"The team was tired so it was a satisfactory result for us," the former Brazil and Real Madrid manager said.
"Those who travelled Wednesday know that it was a tough trip so we played well given the circumstances."
In Saturday's only other match, Gremio held Vitoria to a 0-0 draw in Salvador.
