In the first case of swine flu this year in the Millennium City, a 32-year-old woman has been found positive for the disease here, a doctor said Wednesday.
Kavita, a housewife and resident of Faridabad, was found positive for swine flu and was admitted to a government-run civil hospital here.
The patient's husband, who works with a private company, came here with Kavita's test report issued by a private laboratory.
"After examining the patient and the report, she was found swine flu positive. She was immediately admitted to an isolation ward made for such patients," a doctor from the civil hospital said.
There are over a dozen suspected swine flu patients here and their test reports are awaited.
