Media baron Subhash Chandra-led conglomerate Essel Group said on Sunday that it is looking for partners here at the world's largest industrial fair - Hannover Messe - to bolster its smart city and renewable energy projects in India.

Announcing that it will showcase India's smart city model at Hannover Messe 2015, where India is the partner country, Essel said it will "scout for partners in renewable energy, technology, and master planning for smart cities".

"This will also include a governance framework based on Public-Private-People-Partnerships (PPPP), unveiled for the first time at Hannover," Essel said in a statement here.

"Hannover Messe is a perfect platform to present our commitment in creating world-class cities in India," said Essel Group chairman Subhash Chandra.

According to the company management, multiple utility services will be offered through a single-window solution model based on smart integrator and principal contractor (SIPC) concept, thus delivering an all-in-one conduit to consumers.

At Hannover, the company will actively scout for forging partnerships with master planning companies, mayors and urban development ministries and smart city developers in Germany, Norway, France and Spain, among other countries, it said.
