He may feel comfortable performing live in front of a huge crowd, but Singer Harry Styles was jittery while giving a speech at his mother Anne Cox's wedding ceremony.

This is Cox's second marriage. She wed Robin Twist in June.

Styles, 19, member of One Direction band, found it difficult to give a speech in front of just 100 people even though he practiced a lot for the big day.

"I did give a speech and I can honestly say it was the most nerve-wracking thing I've ever done. I practiced on my own for days beforehand, on the sofa reciting it to myself. I tried to make it have a bit of everything," thesun.co.uk quoted Styles as saying.

He may be nervous, but Styles impressed with his speech by adding humour in it.

"When everyone thought it was going to be really emotional, I pulled the rug out from under everyone's feet and injected a bit of humour. It seemed to go well," Styles said.
