Actor Varun Dhawan has rubbished rumours that he has been offered a role in Rohit Shetty's remake of "Ram Lakhan".
"For the record, I have never been offered 'Ram Lakhan'. Rohit Shetty has always been one of my favourite director... I had such a good time doing 'Dilwale' with Rohit sir and sincerely hope I get a chance to work with again," Varun posted on Twitter.
There were rumours that Varun rejected the "Ram Lakhan" remake because "Dilwale" didn't do well. But clearly as per Varun, that's not the case.

When Shabana Azmi felt like a 'worm'
Veteran actress Shabana Azmi has lauded film director Tom Hooper's film "The Danish Girl", and says the "level of performance" in the Oscar-nominated film made her feel like a "worm".
"First time in years that I got up to watch a film I left incomplete in the night. 'The Danish Girl'. Level of performances make me feel like a worm," Shabana tweeted.
Hooper's directorial stars Eddie Redmayne, Alicia Vikander, Matthias Schoenaerts, Ben Whishaw, Sebastian Koch and Amber Heard.
Redmayne, who won last year's Oscar for best actor for his role in "The Theory of Everything", has yet again been nominated in the Actor in a Leading Role category of Oscars for playing a transgender in "The Danish Girl".
Vikander has been nominated for the Actress in a Supporting Role award at the 88th Academy Awards.

Vicky Kaushal has three films lined up
After "Masaan", actor Vicky Kaushal is on a roll with three projects -- "Zubaan", "Manmarziyan" and "Raman Raghav 2.0".
In "Manmarziyan", he will be seen with Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar; in "Zubaan" with Sarah Jane Dias; and he will share screen space with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in "Raman Raghav 2.0".
"This is what I have always craved for. And in fact, it's more than what I asked for. This life-state is a high. It's an addiction, and I'm only getting more and more used to it. I don't want this madness and chaos to end ever," Vicky said in a statement.
The actor's performance in Neeraj Ghaywan's "Masaan" was widely lauded.
