Hema Malini, Khayyam pay tribute to Ravindra Jain

Numerous Bollywood celebrities including Hema Malini and veteran composer Khayyam were present at late music director Ravindra Jain's memorial here on Saturday to offer their condolences to his family.

Jain, 71, had passed away due to multi-organ failure on Friday.

Among other notables who came to pay their respects to the respected musician and give support to the bereaved family, were director-composer Vishal Bhardwaj, politicians Priya Dutt, and Sanjay Nirupam, singers Suresh Wadkar and Udit Narayan, actors Ranjeet and Sachin Pilgaonkar.

Jain, who was born blind, was one of the most renowned music composers of the 1970s and 1980s having composed memorable music for films such as "Chor Machaye Shor", "Geet Gaata Chal", "Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se", "Ram Teri Ganga Maili", "Do Jasoos", and "Heena" among others.
