Himachal assembly secretary likely from judicial services

A senior judicial officer is tipped to be the next secretary of the Himachal Pradesh assembly, officials said Wednesday.

"A judicial officer posted in Dharamsala is likely to the new Vidhan Sabha secretary," an official told IANS.

The post fell vacant last month following the superannuation of Balbir Tegta, who has been re-appointed chairman of the Himachal Board of School Education.
