Hanoi, Feb 21 (IANS/EFE) The cast and crew of Hollywood movie "Kong: Skull Island" met the press on Sunday here in Vietnam, as they prepared to begin work on the largest motion picture ever to be filmed in the country.
American actor Samuel L. Jackson, Oscar-nominated actress Brie Larson, and director Jordan Vogt-Roberts spoke about plans for the epic action adventure movie, for which they will begin shooting on Monday.
"Kong: Skull Island" will see a group of explorers brought together on an uncharted island in the Pacific, unaware that they are crossing into the domain of the mythic King Kong, according to a press release.
Filming in Vietnam will last for around five weeks.
The movie, which reportedly has a budget of $190 million, is scheduled to hit cinemas in 2017.
