I'm a foodie, says Boman Irani

Actor Boman Irani says he's a big foodie, but he also makes sure that his food gives him the right balance of healthy eating and fitness.

"I am a foodie and I also believe in the connection between fitness and healthy eating," said the actor, who is currently seen promoting the health benefits of edible oil as a face of 'P' Mark mustard oil, manufactured by Puri Oil Mills Limited.

"The recognition of the health benefits delivered by mustard oil goes back thousands of years, and Puri Oil Mills Limited has taken this ancient heritage to new heights for the past 80 years," he added.

Boman, due to his sheer versatility, has a unique place in Bollywood. He has very skilfully carved a niche for himself with roles in movies, including "Munnabhai M.B.B.S.", "Being Cyrus" and "3 Idiots".

The association with Boman will enable the 80-year-old brand to connect with its traditional audience in the hinterland as well as with younger, lifestyle-oriented and health conscious urban consumers.

As part of the deal, he's seen in a TV commercial for the brand.
