Singer and reality TV star Aaron Carter is hoping to return to the New York stage and take on the role he had to turn down because of tour.
Carter, who won critical acclaim for his Broadway production "The Fantasticks", has his sights set on a starring role in long running musical "Wicked", reports contactmusic.com.
"I'd like to play Fiyero in Wicked. Put that out there so they can make me an offer. The character is great, it's a challenging role," he was quoted as saying.
"They (producers) were enquiring about me doing the part in the past but I was going on tour after The Fantasticks and couldn't do it."
