The 20th edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK), that begins here on December 4, will feature works by six South Korean filmmakers in the Korean Panorama section, officials said.

The section will feature melancholic works that also capture contemporary realities in South Korea.

"Stop" by Kim ki-Duk tells the story of how the meltdown at Japan's Fukushima nuclear plant altered the lives of a young married couple, while, "Madonna", by director Shin Su-won, depicts the extremes of society, where lives are divided according to wealth, power and gender, with the stories of a man who forces his father to undergo a difficult surgery to inherit his property and of a prostitute trying to save her unborn foetus.

"Office" by Hong Won-chan is a psychological thriller-cum-satire about corporate politics. It tells the story of a man who disappears after killing his entire family.

"Clown of a Salesman" is about a desperate attempt by a man to pay his daughter's medical bills.

"Right now, wrong then" won the Golden Leopard at the 68th Locarno International Film Festival. Director Hong-Sang Soo gives two variations of a fateful encounter between a filmmaker and an artist.

"The Unfair" is about a man accused of murdering his son at a demolition site, and the following explosive courtroom drama.
