Chasing a revised target of 178 runs from 26 overs, India bowled out Sri Lanka for a measly 96 in 24.4 overs with pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar picking up his first four-wicket haul.
Earlier, India's innings came to an end at 119/3 from 29 overs after the match was disrupted by rain.
