The Indonesian U-23 squad is scheduled to meet Thailand in two tryout matches at the end of this month and early next month in Indonesia, the country's football association said here on Wednesday.

The first match will be played at the sport stadium of the country's police academy (PTIK) on May 31 in the capital. The second one will be held on June 3 in the Pekan Sari sport Stadium of West Java province, said Ratu Tisha, secretary general of the country's football association, reported Xinhua news agency.

The matches aim to boost the skill and performance of Indonesian football ahead of the Asian Games this year in the country.

The 18th Asian Games are scheduled to be held in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta and in Palembang, the provincial capital of South Sumatra province from August 18 to September 2.
