Rain halted the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Sunday.

Put in to bat, Bangalore were 96/3 in 14.1 overs with Mandeep Singh (48 off 38 balls not out) and Travis Head (35 off 29 not out) at the crease.

Pacer Umesh Yadav sent packing West Indian hit-man Chris Gayle and home skipper Virat Kohli while off-spinner Sunil Narine dismissed AB de Villiers.

There was light drizzle before the start of the game as well.
