"Ishq-e-Ibaadat", all geared up to go on floors, is about two love stories running parallel in time, says director Noor Mani.
"It is a romantic love story. Currently we are in pre-production. We are auditioning and getting songs completed with Arijit Singh, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam," Noor to IANS.
He said the film, under the flag of Amee Patadia's AMEE films, is based on a novel.
"There are two love stories of two different couples from different eras running parallel. One is 1984-85 and other one in 2015 and how one modern couple is inspired from the old love story. That is the film all about," he said.
Noor Mani has been in theatre, acting, writing, and had now donned the director's hat for a full-length film. He is a critically-acclaimed short movie-maker with "Sound of Death", "Bhookh", "Circle in the Sand" and "Puppeteer" to his credit.
