IT raids private firm linked to Delhi Police officer's wife

The Income Tax Department on Wednesday conducted raids here at the office of a private health care company owned by the wife of a senior Delhi Police officer, an official said.

Sources said that the IT officials recovered records of huge tax evasion from the Greater Kailash-based office of Forsan Healthcare Private Ltd which is being run by Pallavi Sharma during the search operation.

Pallavi is the wife of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Licensing, Satya Vir Katara.

"There are allegations that Katara and his wife has accumulated assets worth about 400 cores during last four years," IT sources said.
