Actor Harry Lennix, known for his roles in films like "Man of Steel" and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", calls his colleague James Spader 'extraordinarily detailed as an actor', adding that he is at the top of his game.

Lennix worked with Spader, known for his roles in films like "Sex, Lies, and Videotape" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron", in the TV series "The Blacklist".

"He (Spader) is extraordinarily intelligent and extraordinarily detailed as an actor. I think he's at the top of his game. I don't think there's anybody on television right now as compelling and who does as much preparation. I'm inspired by and enjoy those scenes. I wish I had more where I get to go toe to toe with him just because he always brings up everybody else's game," Lennix said in a statement.

Lennix plays the role of FBI agent Harold Cooper in the series, which revolves around FBI's most wanted criminal Red Reddington and young FBI rookie Elizabeth Keen who work together on Reddington's insistence to catch FBI's most wanted criminals.

The second season of the show will air on May 14 and May 15 on Star World and Star World HD.

The actor also feels that secrets are not easy to keep due to the digital revolution.

He said: "I think that the digital age has opened the lid on a lot of things. Everybody is having to be more careful because you just don't know what information is out there."
