Singer Javed Ali got emotional when his parents paid a surprise visit on the set of popular children singing reality show "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs Season 6".

"This was one of the best surprises of my life. It is indeed an emotional moment. I owe my success to Allah and my parents who have sacrificed so much to get me where I am," Ali, known for songs like "Kun faaya" and "Deewana kar raha", said.

During their visit on the Zee TV show, Ali's parents said that they had been through various ups and downs in life.

Singer Neha Kakkar, who is seen as a mentor on the show alongside Ali and Himesh Reshammiya, said: "Javed Ali is a priceless gem of our industry. After hearing his inspiring story, I hope our industry gets more singers like him."

Himesh said: "Javed, you are an inspiration to everyone all over the nation. Your humility and simplicity says a lot about your down-to-earth personality. With your kind of talent, you have a long long way to go. Your parents' heartfelt blessings are always with you".

Ali's parents will appear on the show on Saturday.

Nehha Pendse's unique fan

Actress Nehha Pendse fulfilled the wish of a unique fan whose mother had asked her to secure 'A' grade in Class 10 if she wants to meet her favourite actress.

Nehha, who is seen as Sanjana in popular Life OK comedy show "May I Come in Madam?", got to know about the young fan through social media.

"Whatever I am today it's because of my fans and I have always been overwhelmed by the love and affection that has been showered on me by my fans. It was pleasure meeting my sweet little fan who secured first class result in board exams and came all the way from Pune to meet me (in Mumbai)," Nehha said in a statement.

"She gifted me a cute kitty photo frame too. I think I am lucky enough that people are watching me and appreciating my work. I was really moved and humbled to meet my youngest fan," she added.

Chandni was made for Shivani Tomar: Barun Sobti

Actor Barun Sobti is all praises for his "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Nam Doon" co-star Shivani Tomar. He says the character Chandni is apt for the actress, who is a "very sweet girl and looks extremely promising".

Star Plus is set to bring back the third season of the show. While the first season saw Barun romancing Sanaya Irani, in the third he has been cast opposite Shivani.

According to Barun, Shivani was the best choice to play Chandni.

"I personally saw Shivani's audition, and it feels like the character was made for her. She's a very sweet girl and looks extremely promising. Very glad to be working with her," Barun, who has a rugged look in the show, said in a statement.
