The body of a foreign Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) militant was recovered in Jammu and Kashmir's Tral town on Saturday, police said.

A letter found on the dead body said it was of a foreign militant who died accidentally while preparing an improvised explosive device (IED). It requested the locals to bury the body.

Director General of Police S.P. Vaid said: "While fabricating IED in a hideout near Handura Aripal Tral explosion took place in which one terrorist of reportedly JeM died whose body has been recovered by Jammu and Kashmir Police."
