The Bharatiya Janata Party government in Jharkhand on Tuesday tabled its third supplementary budget of Rs.1,841 crore in the state assembly.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Saryu Rai tabled the budget proposals for the current financial year, including Rs.222 crore for urban development and Rs.202.52 crore for school education and literacy department.

The opposition parties termed the third supplementary budget proposals as a loot.

"On the one hand, the state government is unable to spend money sanctioned in the primary budget, and on the other it is tabling supplementary budget," Jharkhand Vikas Morcha-Prajatantrik legislator Pradeep Yadav told reporters here.
