Jordan's lower house Tuesday dismissed member of parliament Talal Al Sharif after he opened fire at his fellow lawmaker following a brawl in the house, media reported. No one was injured in the incident.
The house also decided to suspend Qusai Al Dmeisi, who was involved in the brawl with Al-Sharif during a meeting to discuss budgetary matters, Xinhua reported citing state-run Petra news agency.
Al Sharif was earlier detained for 15 days in the Al Jwaideh prison and accused of attempted murder, resisting security forces and holding a weapon without a license, according to a security official.
