Italian football champions Juventus on Wednesday announced the sale of Chilean defender Mauricio Isla to Serie A club Cagliari in a three-year deal.

"The Chilean defender's registration rights have been acquired for a fee of 4 million euros ($4.46 million), to be paid in three financial years," Juventus said in a statement.
