Itaian football champions Juventus on Tuesday confirmed that striker Alvaro Morata hasn't suffered any muscle tear.
The Spain international was substituted at half-time in the win over Carpi on Sunday, and it was feared he could spend the rest of the season on the sidelines.
"Alvaro Morata underwent a medical examination this morning, which ruled out any muscle tear for the Spanish forward, whose condition will continue to be monitored in the coming days," Juventus said in a statement.
Juventus, who have already sealed the Serie A title for the fifth consecutive time, will face Verona on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Mario Mandzukic, Paul Pogba and Hernanes will definitely miss out on the trip to the already relegated Gialloblu due to suspension, having all picked up bookings at the weekend.
