Television actor Karan Mehra says directing his wife and actress-turned-singer Nisha Rawal is always a fun experience for him, and adds that he would "love to do it again and again".
Karan, who has become a household name with his on-screen character Naitik Singhannia in Star Plus show "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai", has directed his wife on several occasions.
Karan also points out that picking up the camera gives him a break from his "daily soap" life.
"Well, of course, it's so much fun shooting with her. She's so full of energy, dedicated and professional. Shooting with her is also very nostalgic as that's how it all began eight years back when we started dating where I was the stylist of the film and she was playing the lead actress."
"I am completely enjoying this experience where she's the main girl again and I am doing the running around. I would love to do this again and again," Karan said in a statement.
Karan has directed Nisha's fourth cover song, in which she has blended in the romantic track "Meherbani" with "Love me like you do".
The actor is all praise for his wife as he says "she's also very involved in what she's doing".
"It's always fun to sit down and ideate with the team and it's a good break for me from my daily soap as well. There was also someone who mentioned this when I directed the first cover that 'Karan projects Nisha exactly the way he perceives her so, it's like seeing Nisha through Karan's eyes when he's directing her'."
"I would like to believe that's true and she does bring out the best of me," he added.
On the small screen front, speculations are rife that Karan might bid adieu to the TV show after seven years.
