Actress Michelle Keegan says she felt her fiance Mark Wright was kidding when he popped the question to her.

The couple dated for almost six months before getting engaged in Dubai last month.

"I thought he was joking at first and then he said 'come here'," Hello magazine quoted Keegan as saying.

It was an emotional moment for Keegan when she realised that Wright was serious about it.

"I started crying, and said 'Yes'. Then he started welling up as well. Then as we walked further down the beach, I saw a table set up with lanterns and petals, and with two glasses of champagne," said Keegan.
