Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will address a public rally in Punjab's Muktsar Sahib district on January 14, launching the Aam Aadmi Party's campaign in the state that goes to the polls in 2017.
Last year during the general elections, Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had won four parliamentary seats in Punjab and was billed as an alternative to the incumbent Shiromani Akali Dal and the Congress.
"The Delhi chief minister will adress the rally in Mukstar on January 14," said an AAP leader.
The party has already geared up in poll mode with many of its leaders already having toured the state and aiming to replicate Delhi's success in the state.
