The Pal show, starring Helly Shah, Nishigandha Wad, Rohitash and Naman Shaw, is perhaps being axed as it could not generate curiosity among the viewers.

"The show is slated to go off air soon. The show could not connect to with the viewers and that is the reason it is being pulled off," said a source.

"Halla Bol 2" first episode inspired by 'Mary Kom'?

After creating ripples on the big screen, the story of boxing champ M.C. Mary Kom seems to be headed to the small screen. The makers of "Halla Bol 2" have taken cue from her story for it's pilot episode.

The first epsiode of season two of the show will trace the journey of a woman towards her dream of pursuing boxing as her profession, which is still considered as a men's territory.

The plot will revolve around a girl named Sunaina, who is born in a middle-class family in Ambala. Sunaina aspires to be a boxer since childhood, but her parents and society doesn't support her.

The episode will showcase Sunaina's grit and determination and the hurdles she overcomes during her journey.

Hosted by actor Karan Tacker, the 26-episode season will narrate courageous stories of women, who broke stereotypes and emerged as real heroes. The pilot episode will be aired Sunday on bindass channel.

More love on TV with 'Tu Mera Hero'

A new offering on TV, "Tu Mera Hero", is set to tell a tale of love between a lazy but charming boy and a girl, who's a hopeless romantic.

The show, starring Priyansh Johra and Sonia Balani, will go on air on Star Plus in December.

For Priyansh, who plays the boy Titu in the show, the experience has been great so far.

"He is quirky but lazy, he is a non-workaholic but very adorable. He is the perfect hero as he charms people with his imperfectness," he said in a statement, adding that he is "overjoyed but also nervous" about his first lead role.

The show was earlier called "Mera Nikhatoo" but the channel decided to change it last minute to "Tu Mera Hero".
