An assortment of 68 films from 28 countries, including award winners from the Busan International Short Film Festival (BISFF), is in store for cine-goers at the 13th Kalpanirjhar International Short Fiction Film Festival (KISFFF) beginning here November 2.
Organised by the Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan and Kalpanirjhar Foundation chaired by filmmaker Goutam Ghose, the four-day affair will capture the creative efforts of countries like Taiwan, Iran, Denmark, Romania and the Netherlands in addition to entries from India, the US and others.
The screenings have been divided into segments like BISFF meets KISFFF (showcasing winning films from South Korea), a mixed international selection of independent entries, animation bonanza (Berlinale and other international selections), a selection from 27th Dresden film fest, Berlinale spotlight-fiction and Indian selections.
The fest concludes November 6 at the Max Mueller Bhavan auditorium, organisers said.
