Komal Hupendi to be AAP's CM candidate in Chhattisgarh

The Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday announced young tribal leader Komal Hupendi as its chief ministerial candidate in Chhattisgarh.

The announcement was made by the party's state in-charge Gopal Rai at a public rally on Wednesday.

The 37-year-old social worker is contesting from Bhanupratappur area.

"He will open the door for an overall development of the state," Rai said.

Chhattisgarh will go to the polls in two phases on November 12 and November 20.
