Rio de Janeiro, July 14 (IANS/EFE) After winning the World Cup at the Maracana Stadium here Sunday, Germany's Toni Kroos announced that he will move to Spanish club Real Madrid.
Currently with Bayern Munich, the midfielder confirmed his move to 'Los Blancos' after the final where Germany defeated Argentina 1-0, reports Efe.
"The World Cup has ended in the best possible way. Now I'm going to play in Madrid. So two dreams are fulfilled," said Kroos.
Real Madrid, which is said to have paid the Bavarian club 25 million euros for the player, may present Kroos next week.
