Rio de Janeiro, July 14 (IANS/EFE) FIFA has told Spanish club FC Barcelona that it cannot hold any official presentation for new signing Luis Suarez due to his four month ban from football activities.
FIFA spokesman Delia Fischer said that the player ban includes not taking part in any football activity including presentation conferences, reports Efe.
Suarez's only available step to appeal the ban can be at the Court of Arbitration of Sport (CAS) as FIFA rejected his appeal.
The Uruguayan striker was banned after he bit Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini during a match in the just concluded World Cup.
