Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova successfully defended her title in the Kremlin Cup defeating Australian Daria Gavrilova in the final on Saturday, thus achieving the last available ticket to the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Finals in Singapore.
World No.9 Kuznetsova defeated Gavrilova, No.37, by 6-2, 6-1 in 72 minutes, reports Efe.
This is the second title this year for Kuznetsova, who also won in Sydney, as well as being a finalist in Miami.
Kuznetsova will join German Angelique Kerber, Polish Agniezska Radwanska, Romanian Simona Halep, Czech Karolina Pliskova, Spanish Garbine Muguruza, American Madison Keys and Slovak Dominika Cibulkova in the season-ending tournament in Singapore.
