French design house Lacoste is celebrating the 80th anniversary celebration of the brand and plans to collaborate with nine other luxury French Houses to mark the occasion.
The participating brands are Hermes, Fauchon, Baccarat, Bernardaud, Boucheron, Maison Veuve Clicquot, Christofle, Goyard and S.T. Dupont. These nine French luxury brands created an exclusive product paying tribute to the crocodile, an international icon of Lacoste, said a statement.
The brand that was launched in the year 1933, marked its entry in India in 1993. Keeping the Indian customers in mind, Lacoste also created the world's first pique Kurta, available exclusively in India.
Today, the design house has more than 1160 boutiques throughout 110 countries, selling, on an average, two items every second.
