Liverpool football club on Tuesday appointed Peter Moore, the Electronic Arts Sports chief competition officer, its new chief executive officer.
According to the club website, the Englishman, 61, is a lifelong fan of the Reds and will replace Ian Ayre in June before the start of the 2017-18 season, reports Efe.
Moore spent nearly 10 years at EA Sports in which he held a number of leadership positions, including chief operating officer and president of the video game giant company.
He previously held senior roles with Microsoft, SEGA and Reebok while he received his degree from Keele University in the UK as well as a MA from California State University.
