Olympique Lyonnais president Jean-Michel Aulas said on Monday that his football club is waiting to receive word from Manchester United on transferring Brazilian international Rafael Pereira to the French side.
"Rafael has arrived from Manchester. We hope for an agreement on the transfer from MU," Aulas tweeted, reports Efe.
Pereira arrived here on Sunday to undergo medical examination that, if successful, will prompt the signing of a four-year contract estimated at three million euros.
The Brazilian joined the English team in 2008 along with his twin brother Fabio, now in the ranks of Cardiff.
Landing a spot with Lyon would be a good opportunity to revamp Rafael's career after playing only 11 games last season.
