A man was shot dead and his younger brother injured in west Delhi on Tuesday by two unidentified assailants in a road rage case, police said.
Police said Pradeep and his younger brother Pawan of Bapa Nagar area were on way to their sister's home in Kanjhawala when the assailants riding a speeding car confronted them for not giving way to their vehicle.
In the ensuing scuffle, one of the car riders shot Pradeep twice and Pawan once with a pistol, a senior police officer said.
Both were taken to nearby private hospital where Pradeep succumbed to his injuries, while Pawan is under treatment, he added.
A closed-circuit television footage from various intersections and major roads are being scanned to identify the culprits, he added.
