Miss India Manushi Chillar, 21, was named one of the five winners of the Beauty with a Purpose award at Miss World 2017 here on Saturday.
The other winners of the title are contestants from South Africa, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines.
The model from Haryana is inching closer to the Miss World crown as she has gone straight from top 40 to 15.
Miss World 2017 is taking place at the Sanya City Arena here.
As many as 108 beauty queens from different parts of the world are participating in the prestigious beauty pageant.
Miss World 2016 winner Puerto Rico's Stephanie Del Valle will pass on the coveted crown to the new queen.
The event has so far witnessed performance by singer Zizi with Megan Young and Angela Chow hosting the show.
