FC Barcelona saw their 100 percent win record brought to an end after a 0-0 draw away to Osasuna, but coach Tata Martino remained calm.

The result means Barca were unable to equal Real Madrid's record start to the campaign of nine successive wins, reports Xinhua.

The league leader's failure to break down an exceptionally well worked Osasuna defence Saturday night saw their winning run end after eight matches and leaves them one point ahead of Atletico Madrid, who lost to Espanyol, and Real Madrid, a week before the two sides meet in Barca's Camp Nou stadium.

"I'd have been worried if we had taken a step backwards, but I didn't see that, so I am not worried commented the Barca coach.

"Normally we would have won this game, but today it was not to be," said Martino.

"I am relaxed about the performance, because Osasuna can hurt you in their home ground and we didn't suffer in defence," said Martino.

"We have not taken the three points because we wasted our chances and in the first half we were not effective with our final. pass We lacked clarity in the first half, but we had some good chances in the second," he added

One thing Martino was unhappy with was the rough treatment dealt out by the Osasuna defence to Neymar, who received numerous fouls from the home defenders and midfield.

The sad news in the game was the serious knee injury suffered by Osasuna winger Sisi, who will be out of action for around six months after damaging ligaments in his left knee.
