Mashrafe suffers ankle injury

Bangladesh's One-Day International (ODI) skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has injured his ankle during a practice session of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) franchise Comilla Victorians.

"It's nothing serious," Mashrafe, whose career has been plagued by serious injuries, said on Friday, reports bdnews24.com.

His team was practicing at Mirpur Academy grounds. Comilla Victorians will face Dhaka Dynamites on Sunday in the BPL.

"It's just a slight pain... I hope to resume practice from tomorrow," Mashrafe added.
