After its mega victory in the Lok Sabha polls, the BJP is planning a grand welcome for its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi when he arrives here Saturday.
The Bharatiya Janata Party leader, who is almost certain to be the next prime minister, will be welcomed by supporters and a series of spots have been shortlisted for felicitating the leader.
Modi is likely to arrive at the Delhi airport around 10 a.m., and will go to the BJP's national headquarters at 11, Ashoka Road to attend a meeting of the party's parliamentary board scheduled for 12.30 p.m.
On the way, BJP workers have zeroed in on five spots where they will honour Modi. These include Dhaula Kuan and Sardar Patel Marg.
Meanwhile, an advisory has been issued cautioning commuters to avoid the route to be taken by the BJP leader.
Modi will pass through some of the major roads in the peak hours.
